Dans ce huitième opus de la série, nous suivons Péril, la dragonne au service de la reine Scarlet, qui a combattu des prisonniers dans l'arène et qui peut incendier tout ce qu'elle touche. Après avoir appris que Scarlet comptait tuer les Dragonnets du Destin, parmi lesquels il y a son ami Argil, Péril compte agir, mais elle se révèle instable et ses humeurs changeantes la poussent à prendre des décisions contradictoires. Néanmoins, elle cherche à trouver une forme de rédemption et à se faire des amis, même si tous la craignent. [SQTD] |

Adaptation en bande dessinée du huitième tome d'une série de romans relatant les aventures trépidantes et originales de jeunes dragons anthropomorphisés auxquels il est terriblement facile de s'attacher et de s'identifier. L'univers de fantasy (presque exclusivement animalier) est bien construit et la série offre une transposition réussie des cycles romanesques, en respectant les récits originaux et en restituant avec doigté le côté épique et initiatique des aventures dans le graphisme très centré sur l'expressivité des dragons aux écailles chatoyantes. Esquissée à l'encre noire et colorée de lavis, cette mise en images se présente dans un découpage fluide et très classique, qui est cependant dynamisé par de nombreux mouvements de grille. Un tome au texte dense, qui poursuit en beauté le deuxième cycle de la saga. [SQTD] |
